Harris Interactive hires Jamie Lord as regional VP

ASIA PACIFIC - Market research firm Harris Interactive has appointed Jamie Lord (pictured), former Mindshare Asia-Pacific marketing and business development director, to the post of regional vice-president as part of the firm's global restructure.

Joining Lord at Harris Interactive is Keren Priyadarshini, who is appointed director of healthcare research Asia. Asha Choksi also joins as vice-president and senior consultant of consumer packaged goods. She will assume her role later this month following a transfer from Harris Interactive in the US.

Lord will work at Harris Interactive Asia in the areas of stakeholder research and industry sectors technology, media, telecoms and youth. He will report to president of Harris Interactive Asia Anthony Venus and work with president of global stakeholder research Stefan Schmelcher.

In addition to his work at Mindshare, where was based from 2004 to 2008, Lord launched Millward Brown's first office in China in 1998.

Priyadarshini joins from GfK HealthCare Asia, where she set up and oversaw the healthcare division for the past four years. Prior to GfK, Priyadarshini worked for brands including AstraZeneca, Mundipharma, MSD, Sanofi Aventis and Pfizer.

Harris Interactive is headquartered in Rochester, New York, and has three regional offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. It claims 1,100 employees worldwide.
