Hakuhodo and NTT Data have established a venture to develop the
so-called e-Ad Platform project.
The aim of the project is to build a new generation of advertising and
marketing models capitalising on the benefits brought on by the advent
of digital technology.
The venture will set up an umbrella company this autumn, with 60 per
cent ownership by Hakuhodo and 40 per cent by NTT Data.
Operational companies will be established progressively under the
umbrella company, to develop and offer systems including digital
workflow structures built with affiliated companies.
The first operational company is scheduled to launch this autumn,
focusing on digital asset management of graphic content, media and
marketing data, and other digital assets.
The e-Ad Platform project also aims to provide a new business frame to
all companies connected with the advertising and communications
industry.
Meanwhile, Hakuhodo has launched a new interactive marketing company,
called Hakuhodo i-studio, in a bid to meet increasing demand for
Internet-based marketing services.
