Han Xiao-hua, brand manager at the company’s overseas business division, said that the many agencies selected by Rinaldi, which include DDB, Initiative and Burson-Marsteller, were still being contacted. “There is no official contract with them yet, and we cannot announce any decisions at this stage,” said Han.
“But our contacts with these agencies are on a business level, so won’t be affected by Rinaldi’s departure.”
Han added that Initative remained the “closest” to being retained. “But there is nothing in black and white,” said Han.
