GroupM reshuffles country head roles

ASIA-PACIFIC - GroupM has appointed new country heads at MindShare in Singapore and China, with Jeffrey Seah and Andrew Meaden taking on the respective roles.

In Singapore, Manpreet Singh's departure after 10 years sees him replaced by Seah, who becomes CEO of the MindShare group, including Maxus. Seah ends a decade-long association with Starcom, where he was most recently regional director of diversified services operations and MD of its regional digital division. Meanwhile, Henry Tan has added the Singapore responsibility to his GroupM Malaysia CEO role, becoming the first GroupM leader in the city state.

In China, former Eastern and Southern China managing partner Meaden has been promoted to a new position of MindShare national managing partner. Northern and Western China managing partner Rob Hughes now reports to Meaden. In addition, Lee Siew Ping will return to MindShare next March to become MD of its Beijing office.

The appointments follow the abrupt departure of GroupM China chief strategy officer Quinn Taw less than one year after taking on the role. Prior to this, Taw spent 12 months as managing partner of MindShare China, and was previously managing director for MindShare Beijing.
