Grip unveils 'Star' initiative for Jean Yip ad campaign

Local slimming, fitness and beauty brand specialist Jean Yip Salons is due to launch a television-led multimedia campaign in a bid to retain its leadership status.

Due to launch at Media's press-time, the campaign consists of three TV commercials, print and outdoor initiatives pushing the new positioning that 'Jean Yip can make you a star'. "It's brave and adventurous with a touch of humour, which shows the warmth of the Jean Yip experience," said Paul Russell, managing director of Grip, Creative Partnership, which created the campaign. "It will maintain the Jean Yip Group as a brand leader and trend-setter in Singapore's ferocious market." Grip won the account after a three-way pitch against two other agencies. The incumbent on the account was Theme Media. Starcom is handling media.
