Grey veteran Orr departs

SINGAPORE - Grey Global Group's creative veteran Jeff Orr (pictured) is leaving to pursue other interests, ending an 11-year term with the network.

Orr was previously Grey's regional creative director, but was latterly lead creative overseeing Grey's regional portfolio of Procter & Gamble clients.

Mike Amour, chairman and CEO of Grey Asia-Pacific, said: "Jeff will be pursuing new creative business opportunities outside of Grey from the middle of the year. However, we're delighted that he will continue to work with us on a freelance basis."

Orr was previously regional creative director of Grey before the arrival of Todd McCracken. Orr continued to run the P&G business after the departure of McCracken, and the subsequent establishment of Grey's regional creative council.

Amour confirmed that Orr will continue to work for Grey on P&G, as well as other international clients, and that there would be no direct replacement sought.
