Grey Thailand scoops Krung Thai Axa

BANGKOK - Grey Thailand has emerged as the winner in the marathon pitch for Krung Thai Axa, the newly-merged financial services group.

The agency, which handles the Axa account in nine other markets, saw off McCann Erickson to take the business after nine months and three rounds of pitch presentations.

Krung Thai Axa is a joint venture between Thailand's largest bank and French insurance giant Axa.

Grey's first task is to use TV and print to inform stakeholders of the merger with the line 'The Power of Two'. It will then communicate the new brand positioning to consumers by localising the 'Axa Plan' strategy, devised by Grey in Australia.
