Grey Thailand head to leave

BANGKOK - Grey Thailand's COO, Shilpa Swaroop (pictured) is leaving the agency to join another WPP agency network in India based out of Delhi.

Swaroop joined Grey Thailand in 2005.

Nirvik Singh, Grey’s Asia-Pacific CEO, confirmed the news and said that Swaroop’s successor will be announced in the next two weeks. In the interim Subba Raju, Grey’s Singapore CEO, will be overseeing the Thailand office.

“Shilpa joined us four years back at a difficult time when Grey was undergoing a leadership change. Under her, the business has grown and she leaves with nothing but our good wishes.”

Prior to joining Grey Thailand, Swaroop was at Bates Singapore. She has also had stints with JWT and Batey.
