Grey announces new management structure

NEW YORK - Grey Global Group has confirmed that James Heekin (pictured), currently CEO of Grey Worldwide, will succeed Edward Meyer as the group's chairman and CEO.

The appointment follows the announcement last week of Meyer's resignation, after 36 years in the role.

Concurrently Joe Celia and Tim Mellors have been elevated to newly-created positions as vice-chairmen of the group, reporting to Heekin.

Joe Celia will continue his current role as chairman of G2, Grey's direct marketing arm, while Mellors assumes the role from his current job as chief creative officer of Grey Worldwide.
