Gold Coast reveals new image

HONG KONG Gold Coast Tourism unveiled its new marketing brand 'Gold Coast Very GC' to the Asian market at Team Australia's TABEE event in Hong Kong in early March.

Introducing the contemporary graphic images to buyers, Sandra Passaro, businesss tourism manager of Gold Coast Tourism, said the campaign illustrated the colourful and vibrant nature of the region itself. The illustrations will be used in a variety of media and will show various Gold Coast aspirational experiences such as golfing, rainforests, spas and beach. Passaro said the aim was to "capture the spirit of the destination". The marketing push comes after the revamping of the bureau in September last year, with the Gold Coast Convention Bureau becoming the business tourism department of Gold Coast Tourism.
