Goh to depart OMG

SINGAPORE - Jim Goh, Omnicom Media Group's (OMG) executive director of business development for Asia-Pacific, has resigned from his post.

Goh (pictured), who has let the company’s business development for just over a year, has not specified what his next move will be. His departure marks the end of a ten-year career at Omnicom. Having founded OMD Malaysia, he later served as regional managing director for Southeast Asia, overseeing operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indo-China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Goh described his period with the network as a “terrific experience”, stating that he was “delighted” with the progress made in Asia by OMD and PHD.

OMG’s regional chief executive, Barry Cupples, expressed gratitude to Goh in a statement. “I would like to thank Jim for all his hard work and contributions to the group over the last decade. His leadership helped build a strong Southeast Asia offering and we wish him much success with his new endeavours.”
