Globe shortlists three for $40 million media pitch

MANILA - Globe Telecom, the second largest telecom player in the Philippines, has concluded a review for its media account worth a reported US$40 million. Three agencies including ZenithOptimedia, Mindshare and incumbent Universal McCann are believed to be involved in this pitch.

Sources suggest that this is the first time that Globe has pitched its media since its launch.

Globe Telecom provides a diversified set of fixed-line and mobile telecommunications services and recently tied up with Apple to bring the iPhone 3G to the Philippines.
