Global PR firm Pelham Bell Pottinger launches in Asia

SINGAPORE - Chime Group's financial public relations arm Pelham Bell Pottinger (PBP) has opened an office in Singapore, its first in Asia-Pacific.

Pelham Bell Pottinger Asia, which is the financial and corporate communications arm of the Chime Group, will initially serve clients in Singapore, Southeast Asia China and Southeast Asia.

Its regional operations will be headed by David Wynne-Morgan. He holds the role of chairman and CEO of WMC Communications, which merged with Pelham Public Relations in November 2007.

The Singapore office opened earlier this month and launched with two flagship accounts Temasek Holdings and Singapore-listed Golden Agri Resources.

“Pelham Bell Pottinger has built its reputation as a high-level strategic advisor to business leaders, financial institutions and governments around the world. Asia offers a compelling growth story and we have no intention of missing out on the exciting opportunities here,” Wynne-Morgan said.

The Singapore bureau adds to the agency’s offices in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Hamburg, Munich, Washington and London, where it is headquartered.

According to the agency, Pelham Bell Pottinger serves more than 150 global clients including Mulberry, TPG, Temasek, and the Bahrain Economic Development Board.
