Gavin Anderson adds regional partners

ASIA-PACIFIC - Public relations firm Gavin Anderson has finalised a series of exclusive affiliation agreements with communications consultancies in South Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia in a move to expand its regional network.

Companies which have signed partnership deals are News Communications in Korea, Clavis Communications in Taiwan, and Maverick in Indonesia.

Gavin Anderson’s chief executive for Asia, Richard Barton (pictured), said exclusive collaboration was at the core of the agency’s development strategy in the region. The decision to formalise the partnerships had been made after having undertaken a number of mandates in conjunction with the companies over the past seven to eight years.

“This is an affirmation of long-standing monogamous relationships,” he said. “We felt it was time to capture the relationships on a formal basis to continue to address the needs of our clients.”

Barton said the agreements would help facilitate the delivery of both tailored domestic advice to multinational clients and global advice to domestic businesses with plans for international growth.

Gavin Anderson also works in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. Initially established as an investor relations company, the firm operates across financial, corporate and public affairs.
