RIM to launch new BlackBerry 10 devices and PlayBook 2 in 2012

RIM is set to release its first BlackBerry 10 device in September according to BGR's sources, falling in line with previous reports of a late 2012 release. The BlackBerry London which was spotted back in November is said to be the first BBX OS phone out of the gate, with an all-touchscreen interface and a design inspired by BlackBerry's yummy Porsche handset. Xbox 720 to get Kinect 2 and Blu-ray drive

Microsft's much-rumoured Xbox 720, mocked up by Joseph Dumary above, is shaping up to be a killer home entertainment device by the time it (maybe) launches in 2013. The latest leaks suggest that the Xbox 720 will bring the fight to Sony's Playstation 3 by finally including a Blu-ray disc drive – even though the Xbox 360 showed no love for Blu-ray films. Apple reveals all-time record iPhone and iPad sales

Apple is showing no signs of slowing down as the tech giant announces record sales (and profits) in the final quarter of 2011 – the first since the death of its co-founder (and genius), Steve Jobs.

We imagine the champagne is on ice as Apple rolled out the big numbers to reveal it has more than doubled its profits to US$13.06 billion, compared with US$6 billion for the same quarter in 2010. Read more...
