G2 China scoops Visa Olympics project

SHANGHAI - Visa China has reportedly selected G2 to handle a domestic retail marketing assignment in conjunction with its sponsorship of the Beijing Olympics, after a pitch that included two other agencies.

It is believed that the project calls for G2 to monitor Visa activity at the merchant level.

The project comes after Proximity won Visa’s regional below-the-line Olympics activation business in late 2006.
