G-H tackles ageing population issue

<P>Chunghwa Biomedical Technology (CBT) has appointed Golin Harris (G-H) Taipei to handle its PR duties for the Taiwan rollout of its Home Instead Senior Care programme, a franchise which provides non-medical home care and companionship services for seniors.</P> <P>Aimed at tackling the issue of an ageing population, the scheme will be promoted with the message, 'Be a Santa to the elders' via news coverage of the programme and events to identify the top five caregivers in Taiwan. G-H defeated Edelman and a local shop for the brief. "We'll leverage the insight that we should start providing appropriate care to the seniors before their health situation, including mental and physical, deteriorates to the point where treatment is needed," said Stanley Liu, VP of G-H Taipei.</P>
