Fulford lands regional PR brief for Singapore F1

SINGAPORE - Fulford Public Relations has won regional communication duties for Singapore's first Formula One Grand Prix, following a multi-way pitch.

Fulford will be responsible  for driving ticket sales, managing press inquiries and disseminating information about the event, which begins on September 28, 2008.

Target markets include Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Dubai. “Fulford PR was the obvious choice with their strong background in motorsports PR especially in F1 as well as their impressive credentials across sports, corporate and consumer markets.  T

hey are also well placed to assist us in the region given their strong network of contacts,” said Mr Jonathan Hallett, media and communications director, Singapore GP. The F1 Singapore Grand Prix will take place on a street circuit surrounding the Marina Bay area.

Barring final safety clearance, it will be the first night race in F1 history.
