Fu Rui Tang chooses MindShare for US$13m media brief

BEIJING - Pharmaceutical company Fu Rui Tang has selected MindShare to handle its RMB100 million (US$13 million) media planning and buying account without a pitch.

According to Maisie He, business director at MindShare Beijing, the business was previously handled in-house, with the agency landing the business because of recommendations from another MindShare pharma client.

“Local clients don’t mind so much about the complications of an agency handling clients from the same sector. They see the previous experience as beneficial.”

Meanwhile, MindShare has also scored two new clients: electronics company TCL, worth an estimated RMB30 to 50 million in spend, and financial services company KVB Kunlun, which is estimated at RMB20 million.
