Freeway wins One2Free

<p>Independent 4As agency Freeway Communications has snatched one of </p><p>the biggest telecom accounts in Hong Kong, One2Free, from incumbent </p><p>J.Walter Thompson. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>McCann-Erickson Guangming and DDB were also involved in the pitch for </p><p>the multi-million dollar account last month. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Freeway Communications managing director Desmond So attributed the win </p><p>to "one big team effort". </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>JWT has held the account for some years now but the loss coincides with </p><p>the departure of several key staff in the past six months. They include </p><p>Mr Conrad Chiu who quit as JWT managing director for Hong Kong and South </p><p>China to head-up e-MPI before becoming the chief executive of sister </p><p>company Market Catalyst. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>More recently, Ms Christine Pong resigned as the agency's head of </p><p>creative in Hong Kong to become the chief creative officer at Market </p><p>Catalyst. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
