Fox reviews Hong Kong media

HONG KONG - 20th Century Fox is reviewing its local media business, currently handled by GroupM.

It is believed that four agencies are in contention for the account, including the incumbent and Aegis Media.

The review comes after Fox handed its global media business to Vizeum last year, excluding the US and Australia.

As Hong Kong is a distribution market, it was not part of the global pitch.

The four agencies are making formal presentations to the client this week.

Fox declined to comment on the pitch.

According to Admango, last year's total ad spend is approximately US$67 million.
