Iroco Design's core business is the rental of designer furniture pieces, including Philippe Starck, Ron  Arad, Piero Lissoni, Jaime Hayo, and Tokujin Yoshioka. Jackson says the start-up business will target trade fairs, exhibitions, film productions, fashion shows, launch parties, media events, and weddings.

The company said that it aims to fill a gap in the market for designer furniture rental in Asia.

Since its inception in November, Iroco Design has done rental projects for the Jaguar Landrover launch in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Quintessentially Events’ Christmas party in Westminster Terrace, and Bloomberg's annual family celebration event.

"The concept of furniture and home accessories rental is very new,"Jackson commented. "As Asia's affluent society expects a lifestyle of luxury, increasingly demanding style and comfort of designer furniture in public events as well as in the home."
