Former DraftFCB GM shifts to Zenith role

JAKARTA - ZenithOptimedia has appointed former DraftFCB general manager, Partha Kabi, as managing director to replace Achie Francia.

Francia is returning home to the Philippines after three years with Zenith Indonesia. During her tenure, the office picked up Reckitt Benckiser, BNI, Mobile 8 and Wyeth.

“I am proud of ZO’s accomplishments under my direction and I will hit the road with great confidence in the team I leave behind. No doubt they will accord Partha the same cooperation they have shown me in the past three years,” Francia said.

At DraftFCB, Kabi oversaw regional media accounts such as Samsung and SC Johnson. He joins the Publicis groupe months after IPG consolidated its local media units — Initiative, Universal-McCann and DraftFCB — under IPG Media (Media 30 May).

Henry Saputra, CEO of Zenith Indonesia said: “In addition to having an in-depth understanding of the Indonesian media scene, Partha’s track record of setting up and managing new departments, and overseeing business development should prove invaluable as the agency continues to grow.”
