Signed up already are Pepsi in China; Coca-Cola in Hong Kong; Lenovo in India; adidas, Lexus and Sony in Thailand; Astro Mobile in Malaysia; and KB Card, GS Caltex and GS estore in Korea. MSN microsites will be set up for Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand.
"MSN is responding to market demand," said Gina Hertel, head of trade marketing for MSN Asia-Pacific, Greater China, Latin America and Canada. MSN rival Yahoo is an official sponsor of the World Cup and hosts the official global World Cup site.
