Football Media Services appoints MD
Infront, the company that handles global media rights on behalf of Fifa, has transferred executive director Michael Francombe from Switzerland to Singapore to become managing director of Football Media Services (FMS), the JV set up with Dentsu to oversee distribution rights in Asia. <BR><BR> FMS secured the Asian rights to all Fifa events between 2007 and 2014, including the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, in a deal struck earlier this year that covers TV, radio, broadband internet and mobile broadcasts.
