The 1930s Swing era was the theme for this year's Publishers Ball
in Hong Kong, and despite a rather uncharacteristic show of good
behaviour and self-control, party-goers managed to down a record amount
of alcohol through the night (see Off the Vine, MEDIA, November 24).
All proceeds from the night were donated to a variety of charities,
thanks to the generosity of numerous sponsors, donors and volunteers who
chipped in to help out while having a good time.
