Spotcast, the global m-commerce pioneer, has announced that the
first wave of advertisers participating in SingTel Mobile's 1911-Free
Call have endorsed the service for its capability to deliver highly
targeted adverts, and for its capacity for measurability and
accountability.
The 1911-Free Call service, launched in the summer, is an opt-in,
permission-based service which allows advertisers to precision-target
SingTel Mobile's 1911-Free Call customers with personally targeted ads
to match their own unique demographic profile. Since June 2000, more
than five million personalised advertisements have been delivered to
SingTel Mobile's 1911-Free Call customers. The service is enhanced by a
comprehensive online campaign management interface that allows for the
real-time targeting, monitoring, modifying, reporting and billing of
advertising content and delivery.
This new interactive mobile advertising medium has proven to be
ground-breaking with leading advertisers, including Twentieth Century
Fox Films (Far East). Ms Janice Tay, marketing manager of Twentieth
Century Fox Films (Far East), commented on the new medium saying,
"Spotcast offers the ability to speak one to one with our core target
and be part of their mobile, up to the minute lifestyle. Spotcast is
effective in pulling our ad messages out of the clutter, reinforces our
messages over other media and provides new movie releases with the added
exposure we require."
