FOCUS - ASIAN ADVERTISING AWARDS SHOWCASE: Taiwan sees 'best of Asia'
<p>The Asian Advertising Awards showcase in Taipei, hosted by MEDIA </p><p>and co-organised by Brain magazine, attracted more than 200 advertising </p><p>and marketing professionals wanting to see first-hand the best </p><p>advertising campaigns from across the Asia-Pacific region. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The showcase - held at the Sheraton Hotel and sponsored by AXN Action TV </p><p>and ESPN Star Sports - featured the winning print and television works </p><p>from MEDIA's Asian Advertising Awards. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Taiwan's advertising industry has developed its own distinctive creative </p><p>flair, influenced by a combination of colourful, local cultural elements </p><p>and insights and the traditional Chinese artistic styles. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>However, the showcase aimed to enhance the exchange of creative </p><p>concepts, techniques, ideas and knowledge. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The event offered the local advertising community in Taiwan an </p><p>opportunity to view under one roof a wide-range of award-winning </p><p>advertising campaigns from all over the region. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In addition to advertising and marketing professionals, the showcase </p><p>also attracted media owners eager to see the latest in creative </p><p>innovations in how cutting edge campaigns use the growing number of </p><p>media channels to effectively get their message across to their target </p><p>audience. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
