The Asian Advertising Awards showcase in Taipei, hosted by MEDIA
and co-organised by Brain magazine, attracted more than 200 advertising
and marketing professionals wanting to see first-hand the best
advertising campaigns from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The showcase - held at the Sheraton Hotel and sponsored by AXN Action TV
and ESPN Star Sports - featured the winning print and television works
from MEDIA's Asian Advertising Awards.
Taiwan's advertising industry has developed its own distinctive creative
flair, influenced by a combination of colourful, local cultural elements
and insights and the traditional Chinese artistic styles.
However, the showcase aimed to enhance the exchange of creative
concepts, techniques, ideas and knowledge.
The event offered the local advertising community in Taiwan an
opportunity to view under one roof a wide-range of award-winning
advertising campaigns from all over the region.
In addition to advertising and marketing professionals, the showcase
also attracted media owners eager to see the latest in creative
innovations in how cutting edge campaigns use the growing number of
media channels to effectively get their message across to their target
audience.
