<p>Tech stocks will go through the roof. There is going to be a real </p><p>dotcom ad boom in the region. The old economy will die. Scam ads will be </p><p>seen as a really good thing to do. The media independents will all want </p><p>to find creative agencies to pair up with. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Corporate advertising will suddenly become interesting. Someone will do </p><p>a good radio ad. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Interpublic will buy WPP. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Someone will notice a bank ad. Other pitching clients will follow the </p><p>admirable lead of OUB and pay a pitch fee. BBH's work will get better </p><p>and better. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Publicis will buy Interpublic. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The bridge on the way in from the airport in Hong Kong will be banned </p><p>from all advertising. Agencies will invest in training. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Havas will buy Publicis. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Asian businesses will become obsessed with building brands. Someone will </p><p>invent a phone that just makes calls. Palm will release a larger version </p><p>that is easier to use. Banner advertising will get its own awards - or </p><p>does it already? Nobody will care. There will be too much peace - bad </p><p>for business - so Turner and News Corp will create a war. Email will be </p><p>the hot new medium. The media will start to edit the advertising they </p><p>carry on the basis of quality. Property advertising will be banned. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Bcom3 will buy the lot. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
