FOCUS - 14th ASIAN ADVERTISING AWARDS: Dancers a smash hit at awards

<p>They carried Spikes, they laughed, they danced, they kissed and </p><p>they hugged. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>No, they were not the Saatchis team, which came away from the 14th Asian </p><p>Advertising Awards with the Best of the Best accolade. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>They were, in fact, the dancers at the gala awards, dressed up in </p><p>skin-tight, gold outfits. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Sporting the CASH on-line logo on their stomachs (CASH is the Hong </p><p>Kong-based pioneering Web-based financial services provider), they mixed </p><p>with the almost 500 guests at the cocktail reception at the Grand Hyatt </p><p>in the SAR last month. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>For an idea of what they got up to, feast your eyes on all the pictures </p><p>our intrepid photographer took that night. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Later on at the interval during the presentation of awards, they jumped </p><p>out alongside a singer who sang Cabaret with the lyrics adapted to be </p><p>specifically relevant to the Asian advertising industry. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>They were an instant hit with the audience. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>As one person put it: "This is definitely much more flash than I </p><p>expected". </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
