Fleishman taps Wu for China offices

Fleishman-Hillard has hired ex-Weber Shandwick executive Diane Wu to head its Beijing and Guangzhou offices.<br> <br> Wu (pictured) was previously MD of Weber Shandwick and GolinHarris for Shanghai and Guangzhou, and will report to Fleishman's China MD Li Hong. She is joined at Fleishman by another new hire, Diana Mao, who has been appointed VP of public affairs at its Beijing office. Mao was formerly Asia-Pacific communications and public affairs manager at Philip Morris.<br> <br> "China plays a vital role in Fleishman Hillard's aggressive growth plans, and we are committed to further expanding our business and capabilities here," said Dave Senay, Fleishman-Hillard president and chief executive officer.
