Biggs will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Fleishman-Hillard’s regional president Lynne Anne Davis and senior vice-president and managing director Tarun Deo.
“The best part of this new position is that I can continue to be a pioneer in the digital sphere, but with the support of a global network of talented communication specialists,” Biggs wrote of his job, noting that he secured the position “after 12 years riding the rollercoaster life of internet start-ups”.
Biggs additionally said that all external consulting work would end as he assumes his role at the communications agency, and his work at Palava has been “put on hold”.
Biggs, who founded Web Wednesday in 2007, has worked as managing director of Outblaze group’s subsidiary Dream Cortex and co-founded Web Guru Asia.
He recently worked as a digital consultant for Turner Broadcasting and Universal McCann.
