Flamingo spreads wings after Omnicom acquisition

SINGAPORE - Qualitative research consultancy Flamingo is eyeing expansion across Asia, following its acquisition by Omnicom Group.

The agency, which currently counts offices in London, Singapore and San Francisco, is expected to establish a Tokyo presence before the end of Q1, and is also considering a presence in China.

"We don't envisage any change in the way we do things," said Flamingo Asia-Pacific MD Daljit Khangura. "We're looking at it to be a springboard for further expansion into the region."

The nine members of the current Flamingo board have all agreed to continue under the new ownership structure, as have the boards in San Francisco and Singapore, respectively.
