HONG KONG: Trading company and distributor A. S. Watson is
reviewing agencies for two of its beverage brands before it parts ways
with Ogilvy & Mather, which recently won Coca-Cola's Sprite and Fanta
business.
Five agencies are pitching for Watsons Water, according to its general
manager Chris Atkins. He said the brand had embarked on a pitch
independently before O&M's announcement.
The new agency is expected on board early in the new year with a brief
to "take forward the excitement and reuvenation that has been created by
our brand review and representation", said Atkins.
O&M resigned the beverage briefs, but it still working on Watson's
retail accounts, Fortress and Watsons.
