Firefly S'pore loses key staff
Five senior members of Firefly Studio in Singapore, including managing director Terry Lee, have departed the First Media-owned agency. The five, which also includes account director Jerome Lau, and art directors Brice Li, Norman Lai and Ng Kok Choon, have joined Splash Productions, where they assume corresponding roles. Lee - who also doubled as First Media managing partner - stated that his own departure arose out of a "difference in views" with First Media CEO Mark Phooi, but noted that the other four left of their own volition. Phooi said: "We are in the midst of legal action against them, so I would like to reserve comment for now."
