Financial Times reviews creative account

Ingenuity+ is managing the process.

Financial Times: appointed Orange Panther Collective to create a global 2024 campaign.

The Financial Times is on the hunt for a new creative agency.

The process is being managed by Ingenuity+ and Campaign understands it is at chemistry stage.

In April, the Financial Times concluded a global media review, picking independent media agency the 7stars.

Last year the newspaper picked Orange Panther Collective to launch a global audience acquisition campaign.

An FT spokesperson said: "Following our global media agency review, after which the7stars was appointed, we are now reviewing creative services. Supported by Ingenuity+, we are looking for a partner with a focus and demonstrable experience of subscriptions growth across the customer lifecycle. Orange Panther Collective is one of many agencies that the FT works with."

Earlier in the year, The Financial Times Group appointed Jon Slade, its former chief commercial officer, as chief executive.

The brand released “Source: FT” by Orange Panther Collective in September 2024, which was inspired by the fact that trusted journalism can shape people’s opinions.

The publication has also released campaigns such as “Reach our readers” by Motel and "Lead without example" by The Brooklyn Brothers.

Campaign understands the newspaper works on a project basis with agencies following its creative relationship with The Brooklyn Brothers, which shut its London business in 2022

Campaign has contacted Ingenuity+, Orange Panther Collective and Motel for comment.
