FINA hires Dentsu for global swim meet

SINGAPORE - FINA, the international swimming federation, has appointed Dentsu new sports and sponsorship marketing division for its first international swimming competition in Singapore to be held later this year.

Dentsu received the contract, estimated at US$75,000, after a three-way pitch. The agency will develop creative work to promote the event, as well as manage sponsorship marketing and TV broadcasts.

The FINA World Cup Short Course Swimming Meet will be held this October, with Singapore slated as the second stop in the seven-city tour.
