Few Asia shops vie for Media and Radio Lions

CANNES - Twelve entries from Asia-Pacific made the Media Lions shortlist at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, and fourteen more stand to win a Radio Lion, judged by Southeast Asia's first jury president David Guerrero.

Most Media Lions contenders are from India (six entries), while Malaysia (two), Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia (all with one) also in the running. Meanwhile, fourteen Asia Pacific entries are on the shortlist for a Radio Lion: five from the
Philippines, four from India, four from Malaysia and one from Singapore. The category was chaired by the festival’s first Southeast Asian jury president, David Guerrero, chairman and chief creative officer of BBDDO Guerrero Ortega.
