The deal, which will see FD take control of Occasions’ corporate, financial and marketing practices, includes the appointment of Occasions chief Wendy Yeung, who has more than 17 years’ experience in transaction communications, investor relations and corporate communications across the media, manufacturing, retail and property sectors.
The business will be combined with FD’s existing Hong Kong and mainland China teams, which number 25 staff across the SAR, Beijing and Shanghai.
