FCB Singapore reshuffle aims at Asia focus

SINGAPORE: FCB has undergone a management reshuffle in Singapore to ensure it is better equipped to manage regional business.

Richard Nunn has transferred from the Hong Kong office to Singapore to be regional director of client services Southeast Asia, while Robert Gaxiola has been promoted from senior copywriter to creative director.

Nunn's appointment came about because FCB needed a replacement for regional account director, Robert Burr, who left in late May to be vice-president marketing at AIG Accident & Health. It was also important to have Nunn in Singapore because most of FCB's regional clients are based in the island republic.

Nunn will work mostly on the Samsung, Beiersdorf (Nivea) and AC Delco regional accounts, reporting to Bhaskar Rao, FCB area director Southeast Asia. Rao said Nunn was chosen because of his international experience, having spent nearly two years working as a regional client services director at FCB Hong Kong

Before that he was at Saatchi & Saatchi London working on pan-European business, mostly Procter & Gamble FMCG accounts. "Richard is a good advertising guy and he brings with him a lot of international disciplines that he gained from working at Saatchis, added Rao.
