FCB loses creative leaders
FCB Singapore executive creative director Robert Gaxiola is to depart the agency to become the new ECD at Bates Singapore. The news follows the departure of FCB's former head of art Eric Yeo to the head of art position at Ogilvy & Mather, although FCB Southeast Asia area director Bhaskar Rao described the shifts as "completely coincidental". Rao said: "With the Motorola interactive business, our focus will be much less on classical advertising, and any replacements will come from the interactive, digital and CRM areas." Hong Kong-based regional creative director Rob Sherlock would also support the office, Rao added.
