Despite the fact that the food and beverage business in Hong Kong and Macau encompasses nearly 20,000 establishments, Food & Beverage Management will be the industry’s first specialised trade publication in the region. "There’s a real need for this sort of publication - existing publications are geared towards the hotel aspect of the hospitality industry," said co-publisher Ulrik von Luttichau, who will oversee the publication together with Robert Roussac.
Although 10,000 copies of the first edition will be distributed at the September conference, the magazine will depend on subscription and advertising sales for its continued revenue and distribution. Von Luttichau is confident of advertiser interest. "Food & Beverage Management will be an excellent medium for advertisers targeting the industry, ranging from food suppliers to interior designers," he said.
