Fanshawe moves to fill Euro RSCG's Singapore MD job

Euro RSCG has relocated Matthew Fanshawe from its Hong Kong office to take on the role of Singapore managing director, capping a number of moves to bolster the agency's regional hub.

Fanshawe was previously regional brand director on Intel, and his promotion comes after the appointment of Charlie Blower as executive creative director of the Singapore operation. Blower joined Euro from a previous position as ECD at Rapp Collins.

The two appointments follow the departures of Malaysia and Singapore CEO Shirley Foenander, and ECD Robert Martin Murphy in late 2004.

Euro recently won a StarHub business-to-business project, which Fanshawe pointed to as the first dividend from the focus on new business. "The primary area is to build our foundation for the new business drive," he said.

Meanwhile, Gavin Coombes was promoted to regional executive vice-president of Euro RSCG 4D, the network's below-the-line arm.
