Expo postpones ad:tech Shanghai until 2011

SHANGHAI - ad:tech organisers have postponed the 2010 event in Shanghai until the second or third quarter of next year due to conflicts associated with the World Expo.

According to ad:tech’s website, the event was rescheduled “due to the Shanghai Expo 2010 and the need to realign ad:tech showings in Asia”.

“Our key reason for moving ad:tech China events into April/ August next year was the global realignment of both the ad:tech and iMedia events,” said Paul Beckley, ad:tech’s regional vice-president of Asia, Australasia, Japan and the digital marketing sector.

ad:tech Shanghai was scheduled to take place on 19 and 20 October at the International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The dates for ad:tech Shanghai 2011 will be announced this July.

In Asia, ad:tech Singapore and ad:tech Tokyo will be held as scheduled in June and October, respectively.
