Ex-Alchemy chief Foo begins new venture

Recently departed industry veteran Chris Foo has revealed that his next venture will be a training centre, devoted to coaching professionals on how to deliver presentations. Named 'CFOO', the company is Foo's first start-up outside the advertising industry, after founding Monsoon and Alchemy in 1994 and 2004. Foo stepped down from his position as co-founder and CEO of Alchemy in October (Media, 13 October). <BR> <BR> "I conceived the idea recently after realising that that's what I've actually been doing since I began heading and leading advertising companies as far back as 1992," said Foo, "Singaporean executives- not just ad men- in general are in dire need of better presentation proficiency." <Br> <BR> "The course I've designed is based on training techniques that I've adopted over the years, having been coached by some of the most accomplished practitioners in advertising, as well as having coached executives with noted success whilst I headed ad companies for well over a decade."
