EVENTS: Rex Young places first at media's golf day

<p>Rex Young, representing Time, has won the 14th media Golf Open </p><p>2001, with Scott Wilson taking runner up place. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The event, jointly sponsored by ESPN Star Sports and Reader's Digest, </p><p>attracted a field of 60 golfers who played in 13 teams at the Discovery </p><p>Bay Course. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>David Cunningham junior grabbed two wins - the longest drive and best </p><p>gross prize. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Particpating teams included Newsweek International, MindShare, Turner </p><p>International, Time, Hachette Filipacchi, Star Group, DoubleClick, as </p><p>well as ESPN Star Sports, Reader's Digest and Media & Marketing.
