Eurosport launches Japan operation, broadens Australia programming

HONG KONG - Eurosport Asia has expanded its footprint to include Japan and improved its Australia programming, launching is sports events channel Eurosport and its news platform Eurosportnews.

With coverage of the WTA Tour and Championships events, the FIA World Touring Car Championships and the IAAF Super Grand Prix, the channels will be broadcast in conjunctions with The New Media Group (TNMG).

Eurosport is currently available in eight markets in Asia-Pacific, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
