Euro RSCG execs to local agency PFT

Chinese PR firm PFT Group - China's largest local shop - has pulled off a major recruiting coup, luring two of Euro RSCG China's top executives in a bid to strengthen the company's advertising capabilities.

James Chen, formerly managing director of Euro RSCG Beijing, has been appointed president of PFT Advertising, while former Euro RSCG China ECD Doze Tou has joined as vice-president and ECD.

"It was time for us to consider changing our career path," said Chen. "(PFT) has a lot of local connections, but it doesn't have the people to run an advertising business, so it will be a perfect match for us."

In addition to Euro RSCG, Chen's 16-year career has included stints at Brain Advertising, Asatsu and McCann Erickson Guangming. Tou's 16-year creative history spans two agencies, Leo Burnett and Euro RSCG, 12 of them at the latter agency.
