Euro names Tang as North Asia chief creative and co-chairman

BEIJING - Euro RSCG has appointed CC Tang (pictured) to the dual role of chief creative officer and co-chairman of North Asia.

In the newly created position, Tang will be responsible for creative operations across Greater China, Japan and Korea. He will be based in Shanghai and report to the agency’s North Asia chairman, Joseph Wang.

An industry veteran of 30 years, Tang joins Euro after a stint in academia at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, where he lectured on advertising and design as an associate professor.

Before taking a break from the advertising world four years ago, Tang served as chief creative officer for Greater China at DDB. He has also worked as Greater China executive creative director at Ogilvy and DraftFCB.
Tang’s role will begin immediately.
