"In the last two years, Antony's primary focus was on managing our Hong Kong office and he was instrumental in turning the office around after the difficult post-Sars and post-Intel periods."
Kennedy, who will report to Chow, has more than 20 years' experience, both on the agency and client side.
She worked at Leo Burnett and JWT early in her career, and has held senior management positions at DDB (general manager) and FCB (managing director) before setting up her own advertising shop in 2003, which will cease operation following her move to Euro.
"At Euro, I will need to focus on building the agency's profile and brand in Hong Kong," she said.
"One of the main reasons for joining the agency is that I have known Antony (Chow) for more than 20 years and look forward to working with him. I also believe I share the same vision as Euro RSCG — for an agency to do well in the future, it must be strong in integration from advertising to interactive and public relations. I think the position at Euro will truly allow me to focus on this."
